Q1. What size should I order?
Our dance shoes are manufactured in EU sizes and converted into UK sizes. We believe this conversion is very accurate and true to your ordinary street shoes. That is why we don’t offer UK size 4.5 and size 6. If you are normally a UK size 4.5, please choose our UK size 5. If you are normally a UK size 6, please choose our UK size 6.5. This has been proved to work for our customers.

Q2. I have wide feet, do you have wide fittings?
I am afraid we don’t have wide fittings available with our clearance sale dance shoes. We normally recommend customer with wide feet to go up half a size with our dance shoes. This works for most of customers with wide feet.
Q3. I am a beginner, what kind of dance shoes should I choose?
If you have just started dancing and thinking about buying your first pair of dance shoes, we would recommend you not to choose any of the high heel ranges. It is not easy for beginners to keep balance while dancing on high heels. 2 ¼ to 2 ½ inch heels are probably your best choice.
Avoid buying shoes with open heels as they provide less foot support. Traditional T-bar designs and closed toe designs are the most suitable ones to go for.
Q4. What heel should I choose?
If this is the question you have in mind, then you must have just started dancing or thinking about buying your first pair of dance shoes. If that is the case, we would recommend you not to choose any of the high heel ranges. It is not easy for beginners to keep balance while dancing on high heels. 2 ¼ to 2 ½ inch heels are probably your best choice.
Once you get used to dancing in 2 ½ inch heels, you can then proceed to your favourite high heels.
Q5. How should my dance shoes fit?
Dance shoes must fit snugly so you can maintain good balance on the dance floor. Your feet shouldn’t move around inside the shoes. In open toe designs, the toes should completely cover the soles of the shoes and it is preferable if the toes actually "hang over the edges" of the shoes just a bit. In closed-toe styles (both mens and womens), the toes should be as close to the end of the shoes as is possible without actually rubbing.
Q6. How do your shoes fasten?
Our dance shoes come in two types of buckles: the traditional pin-hole buckle or the convenient hook-over buckle.
If it is the long straps which you are struggling with, then we have two options for you:
One way of fastening the long strap is to wrap it all around you ankle in order to achieve a graceful look.
The other way is to pass it under the shoes and then bring it across over your foot. This crisscross strap provides better support for the foot.
Q7. Can I order over the telephone?
I am afraid we can’t take order over the telephone at this stage. However, all of our online payment methods are 100% safe and secure. Please purchase with confidence. Other possible payment methods are Bank Transfer, Postal Orders and Cheques. Please contact us for further instructions.
Q8. How do I look after my dance shoes?
Tip One: Do not wear your dance shoes outside as long as you still plan to use them as dance shoes.
Tip Two: Try not to get the suede leather bottom wet. Dampness and water would cause damage to the suede bottom.
Tip Three: Invest in a wire brush for brushing off the dirt and grease which the dance shoes pick up from the dance floor. Build-up dirt and grease on the suede bottom could cause it to smooth out and wear out more quickly.
Tip Four: Polish leather shoes regularly to keep them from looking scuffed.
Tip Five: Same rule which applies to your ordinary shoes. If you dance a lot, then invest in another pair of dance shoes, so you can alternate your shoes in order to give them a rest. This will make both of your shoes last longer.
Q9. I emailed you but have not received a reply?
We always try and get back to our customers as soon as possible. We aim to reply any customer emails within 24 hours during working days (Mon-Fri). If you have not had a reply from us for more than 48 hours, please make sure to check your Spam or Junk folder. It is quite possible that it had been blocked by your mail provider.
Q10. What do I do if I need to return a pair of shoes?
If for some reason (the shoes don’t fit; not happy with the style etc.) you would like to return a pair of dance shoes. Please return the shoes to us with your instructions on the receipt, indicating whether you would like to exchange for a different size/shoe or a full refund. For our Return & Exchange Policy please read our Delivery and Return page.
